Netstor has tested the RME’s 128-channel HDSPe MADI card working on their TurboBox connected to laptop, the result is pretty good when running 32 tracks using  64 channels, simultaneous playback and recording run pretty smoothly.

I've seen this on the internet when I was searching for expansion system.

http://www.netstor.com.tw/_03/03_02.php?ODI

This is very cool expansion system, it is affordable, price is between $200 to $350, not bad compared to Magma expanion expressbox which is way too expensive.  I've also heard that this is more a consumer type product   or COTS product unlike the Magma expansion expressbox.

Judging by the look of it, looks pretty cool. It comes with a carrying case and the expansion turbo box is light weight...

Is there any one out there has tested or use this Turbo Box from Netstor with Pro Tools  PCI cards, such as Native HD card and ProTools HD cards?

As this technology is approaching I would like to say, on behalf of hundreds/thousands of Pro Tools users, that a new Thunderbolt interface, cable  and chassis to the  original HD cards,
replacing the  PCI/ Expresscard interface and the much "too short"  1.5 m. cable, will be very welcome to a large & professional society.
After all, TDM processing power is not replaced by the Light Peak protocol.
Also, there is a question about RAM. Would it be possible to add a chassis with extra RAM, so that
Pro users could get up to 64 GB on their laptops?
That would really be helpful, with several Pro applications nowadays recommennding 16GB RAM minimum.
